Dr. Parent and Prof. Yang in SJTU

During December 13-16, Dr. Parent from INRIA visited the Research Institute of Robotics (RIR), Shanghai Jiao Tong University (SJTU).
Prof. DING Han (Director of RIR) and Prof. YANG Ruqing (Project Manager of the CyberC3 Project) first introduced the research history and current research areas of RIR to Dr. Parent. Then, Dr. Parent gave an excellent lecture on the CyberCars Project, which was opened to the whole university. In this lecture, Dr. Parent introduced the history of INRIA and current research on the CyberCars and other projects on automated vehicles. About 200 teachers and students attended this lecture, including Mr. Hong from the WenHui Daily.
After the lecture, Dr. Parent visited the CyberC3 lab, and discussed the technical details of the CyberC3 with the research team at SJTU.
